In my youth I grew up with comics, comic characters, cartoons and cartoons as inspiring role models.

That is also where the origin of my passion lies; ‘drawing characters that have something to say!’

And after more than 15 years of designing and drawing myself, for the most diverse clients and customers, I gradually discovered something…

Namely designing mascots, characters, illustrations, storytelling, cartoons, it doesn’t matter what; for me that is a creative interplay of inspiration, between the client and me.

Where one has an idea, the other, inspired by it, gets to work on it and gives it back, etc. This sets in motion a creative chain reaction towards a cool result.

And what is needed to keep that going, on the way to that cool result?

Well, a goal. Not always immediately visible, but questions like: ‘What do you want to say? To whom? And what does it bring you?’, make that perfectly clear.

These questions, even more inspiration and creativity back and forth, ‘digital’ pencil and paper, a little coffee (or more) and something beautiful is created.

Something beautiful like a cool mascot, a fun character, a striking cartoon, but above all: something inspiring!
